The Windows Master Control Panel shortcut, labeled All Tasks and also called Windows God Mode by bloggers and All Tasks folder by at least one Microsoft developer, is a short-cut to acces various control settings in Windows Vista and later operating systems.
By creating a folder with a certain name, users have access to all of
the operating system's control panels from within a single folder. The
hack was
published outside of Microsoft documentation in 2007
and gained popularity when the name God Mode was used by bloggers.
Variations of the same method can access different settings, and have
also been called “God Mode” folders.
How To Enable GodMode
1. To enable GodMode, right-click on the desktop and click New > Folder.
2. Copy and paste the following into the folder name :
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
3. The folder icon will change to a control panel icon. Double-click on the new icon to see your universal settings panel.
*You
can put any text before the period in the folder name. So, for example,
you can name it HackMode instead of GodMode.
